The Cassandra metric write latency measures the number of microseconds required to fulfill a write request, whereas read latency measures the same for read requests. Understanding what to look for in these metrics requires a bit of background on how Cassandra handles requests. CASSANDRA_CAS_WRITE_LATENCY_95P: CAS write latency 95th percentile.
